KEVIN MONTGOMERY

Founder of the Rose Cottage Health Centre in 1986 and The NSW School of Natural Medicine in 1988. Kevin is passionate about natural medicine and assists clients to obtain optimum health by establishing and treating the cause of their problems.
With 20 years practice as a Naturopath, Kevin uses all the main healing modalities including massage and Homoeopathy. As well as being a teacher and practitioner of Iridology Kevin’s main research focus is the utilisation of Iridology for gaining valuable insight into the human condition.
Kevin has developed a particular expertise in the treatment of cancer whether it be supportive treatments for clients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery or those wishing to go it alone.
Since 1997 Kevin has been an Executive member of the peak professional association The Australian Traditional Medicine Society.
KATHLEEN DANIEL-LAIRD

To obtain her Bachelor of Human Health Science (Naturopathy) Kathleen elected to study Nutrition and Anti Ageing. Kathleen has spent many years applying her knowledge of these topics with that of Metabolic Typing (Individual Biochemistry) to bring the most up to date
research and therapeutics to her clients. Every person has their individual biochemical requirements and by combining the importance of optimum nutrition and a metabolic balancing approach, Kathleen is able to guide her clients to greater health and wellbeing. ‘You are what you eat’ and nutritional therapeutics are extremely effective and predictable.
ANDREW THURGOOD

‘Mr Hemaview’ Andrew Thurgood has joined the team of
professional practitioners at Rose Cottage Health Centre.
Andrew is regarded as the foremost authority on live blood screening in Australia. He will be using his expert knowledge and experience in live blood screening to determine how lifestyle – diet, habits stress and environmental influences – can affect a client’s blood, and consequently their health.
Live blood screening is a powerful motivational tool and is used by Andrew for developing individual programs of treatment for clients. It is incredibly rewarding for clients to see
improvements in the quality of their blood after following their natural treatment program. Andrew is a very experienced
practitioner and most recently a senior Technical Consultant, lecturer and advisor to the natural medicine profession via the premier natural health science company in Australia, HealthWorld Ltd, manufacturer of the Metagenics brand of
practitioner-only natural medicines.
JAKINTA RYAN

Jakinta is an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. She has a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) and Masters in Health Science (Traditional Chinese Herbs) from the University of Technology in Sydney and completed her internship in China. She has been practising complementary medicine for over 15 years and specializes in the areas of gynaecological disorders (PMT, menopause, infertility and pregnancy related conditions), musculoskeletal disorders (arthritis, back, neck and general joint pain), emotional disorders (anxiety and depression) and skin conditions.
Jakinta is a preferred practitioner with Medibank Private.
JANE TAVENER
ADV. DIP HOM
Jane holds an Advanced Diploma of Homoeopathy from the NSW School of Natural Medicine, where she also supervises the student homoeopathic clinic and is writing a course in Contemporary Homoeopathy.
Jane is passionate about homoeopathy and using this
medicine as an avenue for people to reach their true
potential through achieving optimum health.
Jane has been using homoeopathy personally for 25 years and more recently uses only homoeopathy to treat her two young children.
Homoeopathy is a long-standing system of medicine that works with our body to align us into full health. A medicine that works on all levels of a person – mental, emotional and physical. A well chosen remedy will not only heal nagging physical symptoms but will also leave you feeling generally better ‘within’ – energy levels improve, motivation returns, relationships are better, you smile more.

Peta completed her training for the Diploma of Remedial Massage at the NSW School of Natural Medicine and has continued through to practising at the Rose Cottage Health Centre. She also supervises student massage clinics at the NSW School of Natural Medicine.
Peta treats acute and chronic muscular problems utilising techniques of deep tissue, trigger point therapy and myofascial release, tailored to the individual.
Peta has developed a particular expertise in pregnancy massage which is extremely popular with stressed mothers to be. We have acquired the equipment needed to allow our mothers to be to lie comfortably on their abdomen, enabling massage relief to their lower back where they need it most.
Lymphatic Drainage is also offered, its benefits becoming more prevalent to modern life such as assisting with detoxification, post cancer treatment and pregnancy.
